Whitaker717 Posted September 11, 2021 Share Posted September 11, 2021 Another strange question guys, on my 87 I have manual windows. It has that metal worm or coil that goes up in that track. I have lubed it well and it goes up and down pretty easy. My question is it hits the bottom of the door or even my speaker. Is there a clip or anything that holds it up against the door or is it designed to just go into the door cavity. If there is a clip can someone show me how it goes. The coil cable should be in a sheath and clip that holds it along the bottom of the door with the end of it facing the back edge of the door. It stays in the track rolled up, but when I roll it down it goes down to the door and hits it and kinda rolls up. It is in no sheath or clipped to the side.
