lamarhooten
I am in need of an EGR tube now and would like to have an extra or two for latter use if needed. Hard enough to find in the wrecking yards around me and no one makes them anymore. Real lucky if anyone has an old NOS one in stock. Or is even aware of what it is! Has anyone "made' there own or know of a source for parts or ideas about making there own? Alot easier to just "dump the 4 and put a tricked out 4.0 in it!" is not what I am after. Stock and original is what I like. Have a 1969 Plymouth Fury with a SL6, all original to prove it. I love this great trucks and would love to keep a few original stock ones on the road as daily drivers. Thanks for any/all ideas, help, advice. eaglescout526
Woo another stock 2.5L owner. As for that tube, I can see if they are around as NOS but just about all 86-90 2.5L stuff is getting harder to come across because of everyone dumping the engine and scrapping it. I have never heard of that tube breaking though so that’s a new on by me. Just how broken is it though? Can it be welded if it’s just a crack? lamarhooten
Broke in two. Cracked right before the last upwards bend. Can/will weld the same but always interested in unbroke/original items.

jdog
I'm not to knowledge about the 2.5s is the tube they run for the egr, and I'm assuming yes, longer then the 4.0? @eaglescout526
eaglescout526
I’m pretty sure they were different. I haven’t had a chance to look yet. Been busy at work and came home and hung out with some buddies. I’ll look here in a minute.
eaglescout526
So this number here for the tube: 33002516, can be found from 84-93 on 2.5L engines. None as NOS.
