JeepDew
I know I can clear 35 on a TJ with a 4.5" lift. but what is the biggest tire I can clear on an MJ. I imagine I can clear if I did some fender triming. but may consider that option at a later time. If this has been talked about before, could you please direct me to the listing. thanks for the help. Mike
89eliminator
you could probably fit 33s with a little trimming, 35s with a lot of trimming.

FxRacing282
6.5'' coil over with tj flares and you can clear just about what you want Spring over to correct myself. but to be honest id do a 3 link in the back and run 4'' lift coils (probably more like 6'' out back) then you ran have awesome travel and articulation

Mike Going SOA with your stock leafs will give you the 6.5" of lift in the rear. Using your stock leafs also lets it flex very well. :brows:
Stumpy
I have 5.5" RE coils in front and SOA with stock leaves. Clears 315/70r17 (34.5's) BFG's pretty easy with the TJ flares on but it does rub the inner fender wells which i could fix with a small adjustment on my bumpstops. Yes the stock leaves flex pretty good! 34.5's..... 33's.... the flares are Sahara style ones so they are an 1" wider than stock TJ ones.
pingpong
The question is.. how much flex do you want? 33's will flex well with 4.5". 35's will fit with trimming, but you won't have much up travel. If you go 6" or taller you can fit 35's and bigger all depending on how you bump stop your rig. Spring over with stock leafs rocks. Flexes well, and is cheap.
