War_Pony89 Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Many moon's ago I put in this Novak shifter when I upgraded to an AX 15 and lifted the truck. As a result I could not use the floor plate that came Stock and have had a big ole hole there since. Anyone else come up with a clever way to close up the outside from coming in? The Novak #SK2X Shifter Assembly
War_Pony89 Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 Okay, finally got phone and gmail to play nice. To fit the Novak shifter had to pull the stock pan and linkage. About to put down some Dynamate, but this orifice is concerning me
ghetdjc320 Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Is the shifter throw linear or does it have a gate? If it’s just a straight or linear throw I’d just grab a piece of aluminum from Home Depot and trim it to fit. Add some urethane sealer and some self tapping screws and your good to go. Make an opening for the shifter throw and put on a universal shifter boot (Novak probably has one they’ll give you off the shelf)
MiNi Beast Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 just go get a rubber boot for metal roofs. done.
