I ask because Renix (87 - 90) and HO (91 - 92) have different engine systems. This will help other diaguess (diagnose and guess) the problems. I have the Renix(1990) I've been having "misfiring" issues and a hard vibration under power. At first start it idles smooth-ish and then gets rougher. Fuel pressure is within limits, compression is within limits in all cylinders. I'm out of ideas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
cruiser54
Ever replaced the cap, rotor, wires and spark plugs? Are all the vacuum lines on the engine intact? Ever checked to make sure the intake manifold bolts are tight?

I agree with cap and rotor checking. your first post sounds like a worn out distributor bushing. pull your cap off distributor grab the rotor and wiggle it. if there is any play this could most definitely be the culprit.
