eaglescout526
Well I come to yall with some bizarre info on part numbers, if you care or not. Recently I have come across an issue when looking up parts, I am seeing more and more Jeep parts from the 80's (not sure about other Chrysler cars) come up as "Part number not found" in both the catalog and in parts inquiry. So if you ask me or any of the other dealer guys to look up a part and it comes back as part number not found, its Chrysler doing something weird. Speculation is merging with PSA, others is that its Chrysler purging old numbers(not sure why they would do this) but I figured I would inform you guys about this debacle that I've been noticing. derf
Sounds a lot like when I was trying to get parts for an old Grand Wagoneer. Half the time the part number in the book came back "part number not found". Now is the time to get a parts book so you at least have an idea what it is you're looking for. Some parts houses will cross reference old part numbers.
eaglescout526
I have all the parts books from 84-88 but nothing newer. The electronic catalog has everything from 84-now. Some parts still show up like really old battery numbers.
