I've just started working on my 1986 2.8L v6 comanche. When I got it I knew it needed a new carb and exhaust and I've already replaced the carb with a rebuilt one but it's been sitting for awhile and now I'm working on the vacuum lines. Any tips for figuring out where they go and what they connect to and tips for the future?

skim through the link in my signature.  I'm sure this has come up before.  maybe it's in the "informative picture" thread near the bottom?

You would have been better off buying a good aftermarket carburetor like a Weber cause the original carb is very complicated

What did they use for the OEM carb. back then?  Just curious.

The 2.8 came stock with an outdated varajet 2 carburetor  I replaced mine with a Weber degas 38mm aftermarket carb much easier to tune
