Has anyone relocated their charcoal canister and have pics?  Did you replace with a different canister?  If so what did you use?  I'm planning to relocate and get it out of the engine bay but not set on what canister i want to go with as a replacement.......i think i saw a post about an 01XJ but not sure if i'll need to fab up a mounting bracket.

98 XJs had it under the rear end on the driver's side.  That's the setup I used for my 97+ swap, Id imagine you could make that system work on your 88 with some modifications.

The method Dzimm is suggesting works quite well, and can be tucked up next to the rail of the "uniframe".

This may be something I will also do. I am curious as to why you guys move the canister other than cleaning up the engine bay. I do get fuel smell some times in the cab, I guess it comes from the canister? Thanks

Mine is located there because I have a driveline from a 2001XJ, but moving it frees up space in the engine bay, and doesn’t cause any issues for the undercarriage if done well.
