Is there a place that sells the U-bolt perch and with shock mount all in one?

Getting ready to swap,

and I understand the Chrysler 8.25 is 3” tube diameter,

while the stock metric ton Dana 44 is 2 3/4”

thanks!!

You should be able to open up the slots in the plates with a die grinder to allow the bigger u-bolt. Nothing fancy there. :L:

Curious us why you’re dumping the 44 though.

The u-bolts for a C8.25 still fit into the slots on the factory spring plate.  I've done it with both styles of spring plate and it fit both of them fine.

Put the u-bolt into the plate outside the truck the first time and it will make it easier to install once it's in the truck, it's tight the first time the u-bolt goes into the plate but it does fit without modification.

I got a really good deal on 4.10 Gear setup with 1 ton steering on Dana 30 / 8.25
