Coil springs

Hi

I found a pair of zj coils in the junkyard.

They measure 15,15 inches. Does anybody have the height of the stock springs on a -87 metric mj?

I want to say they were 19 inches. I don't remember off of the top of my head though.

I'll tell you I just swapped some sagged lift springs out of my truck and installed some V8 ZJ springs, they were shorter but netted an inch more of lift than the lift springs that were in the truck. Just because they are shorter doesn't mean they will ride lower.

FWIW, the V8 ZJ spings were analogs to the XJ's upcountry springs. 

 

Assuming the springs are in comparable condition, you'll see anywhere from .75-1" of lift over your stock springs.
