Eagle
Remember that you were laid off, not fired. Construction workers in certain trades go through this on an annual basis. I'm hoping (and expecting) that they'll call you back when the emergency orders are lifted and people are allowed to circulate again.
Zenobian_84
I feel you brother; life is pretty rough down here in the southeast for the dealer guys as well, so don't feel too bad about things out in the west. From what one of the independent tool-truck guys told me about the 5 dealerships he goes to on the weekly, some have "laid off" upwards of 15 people, with more to be out the door soon if business doesn't pick up for this "essential" trade. I work for a non-dealer shop, but worked at both Ford and GM once upon a time, so I know how hectic things can get.
eaglescout526
Well, I have officially lost access to the catalog and can no longer run VINs and get parts. I can how ever look up parts with my hard copy catalogs and provide part numbers. If anything changes such as getting my job back, I will post it here.
