OptimusPreem Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 Hello everyone. I'm curious if anyone can tell me if I can use a dolly to tow a 1990 Comanche 115 miles home without damaging anything on the truck? Should I disconnect the driveshaft? Thanks
Eagle Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 115 miles on a dolly should be no problem but it's best to disconnect the drive shaft.

MontanaManche Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 I don't know I'd you've already done it but I did the same and I worked, I would check your t case fluid once your home. It could leak through the tail housing.
Dzimm Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 I would make sure the rear diff has fluid in it before towing if the truck hasn't been driven recently. Really you should do that either way because the gears will be spinning on a dolly.
OptimusPreem Posted April 5, 2020 Author Posted April 5, 2020 Got the truck home safe using all your advice. It went extremely smooth. Thanks guys!
