Auto swap help

Recommended Posts

I just swapped in the auto harness I aquired from a fellow member. I believe everything is plugged in except this connector and the trans connections obviously. Essentially I have a manual truck with an auto harness.

Problem is I have a no crank issue. Turn key everything comes on and operates normally but it won't crank when I turn key. It doesnt click or anything. Its like the starter is unhooked. Any ideas?

Connector in photo is Cruise Control ground.

Try jumping C113_B to C113_C (path to ground for starter relay).

Bingo. Man you saved the day again. I'm assuming I have to fool it into thinking the nss is allowing it to start?

Do you have reverse lights working? I’d love to do an auto to manual swap on mine lol

I did not hook up the reverse lights yet.  But it won't take much just have to jumper the correct pins to the old connector and itll work.

As for the overall swap, so far it hasnt been difficult just time consuming and sourcing parts was a bit tricky but so far so good.
