Lift Kits

Recommended Posts

huh? lifting it IS modifying it. you're gonna have to be more specific. but the general rule is, the more you lift the suspension, the more problems you're gonna run into with other things like driveline, steering, brakelines....

i put a 5" lift for rocky-road.com on my '87 mj. its fine without the longer lower control arms, but i can't get too off camber or go over big bumps without my front tires rubbing flairs. id like to get em, but money is an issue.

At 5", I needed new lowers, a track bar, and could use uppers. My stock lowers contacted the shock mount at ride height with 5" of lift, making it so I had no down travel.
