Front brake lines for a lift

I'm sure this has been covered on here before but I'm still trying to learn the ropes . I purchased a 3 inch lift and was wondering if I need to extend the front lines

You can straighten up the metal line, move the mounting point down and get about 2” more out of it but it’s close. I’m going to order longer lines soon.

I don't recommend even trying to bend the original hard lines. There's a good chance you'll break at least one of them. Just use a longer flex hose.

 

I think the ones I used for a 4" lift were from a '95 YJ Wrangler.

I put a set of these on for a 2" lift.  Also, on the rear. I think the Dodge Dakotata rear is a bit longer. I use it for a 4.5" lift.
