tarmac2dirt
Curious to know how much cam the renix system can handle. Looking at a Schneider cam or maybe a custom ground by bullet cam for a 4.6 stroker build. Would like something 1 or 2 steps above a RV cam. Pull up to 4800/ 5000 rpm range. Using a 5 speed and 3.55 gears. My MJ is a 1988 long bed 2wd. Hope you don't mention a Comp cams because I issues with that company. A stock cam might be the only one that works with renix f/I system I just don't know. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks
omega_rugal
swap a 92->99 cam along with the head and intake, those are better for higher rpms
cruiser54
It will handle it. There's plenty of headroom in the injectors. Get a 60mm bored throttle body.
tarmac2dirt
Thanks cruiser54,, actually I put a 60mm body on and 703 injectors a few years ago. Could never get the idle quit right though, pretty erratic sometimes. Thanks for the information. Paul
