Here is what I need to get to do this swap. 242 shifter or just the shifter gate. 242 bezel. Photos that I found that shows what I am looking for. fiatslug87 Posted December 21, 2019 Share Posted December 21, 2019 I have a bezel, looks like the yellow has faded, there's a chip in the lower right corner and looks like one of the tabs on the back has broken off (I assume there should be four). $5 shipped, pm if interested. schardein Posted December 23, 2019 Share Posted December 23, 2019 The earlier models had the green and orange colors, later models had the white and green. If that is important to you. I've sold all my 242 gates. I've heard that the 231 gate will work in a pinch. I haven't actually done the swap (yet). You could go ahead and use the 231 gate and just switch it out when you come across a 242 gate. That picture of the bezel looks familiar... it's sitting on my desk right now.
