I am trying to come up with a way to produce reproduction or modified taillights for those of us that need a set and I want to be able to access under the lenses without destroying a set of good lights. saveevryjp1998 Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 I've dissected several. I have housings and lenses. It's not near as easy as guys say. Techniques I've tried: Heat gun Hot bar Oven Boiling water Supposedely the composites are fused at factory around 210 degrees. The best way is still start out with 1 already starting to separate and use the water technique mixed with a heat gun and a ton of patients.
