I have a spare computer, wiring harness, servo, vacuum line to servo and some other pieces. The spare pieces I have was a kit and it was meant for '84-'86. I think the AMC salvage yard might have a few more pieces I can snag if you are set on installing cruise for your '89. Toughest thing to source will be the servo cable. Control arm bushings that aren't rotten would be a good enough start on that one
TexanEliminator
I’m happy to report that I just scored the bracket, actuator, cable, and vacuum lie off a xj at the junk yard for $10! Just gotta find a stalk and my Comanche will have cruise control too!

TexanEliminator
Finally got around to installing everything the other day. The stalk install was a PITA like I thought it would be but I got it done! Everything under the hood installed perfect but I was disappointed when I tried the cruise and it didn’t work. Ordered a new servo from teamcherokee.com and installed it today. It works perfect! Thanks Minuit for your write up!

Depending on when you get them ready to send will determine where I need them sent. Thankfully I'm about to leave Montana and head south back to Texas for the winter! I see two that look like they would fit. One is "fat" and kind of ugly, and one is skinnier like the regular stalks. I don't think it matters, but I'm just curious. Fat: https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-19353957-Original-Equipment-Windshield/dp/B01NBIJ825/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=cruise+control+lever&qid=1555170339&s=gateway&sr=8-6 Skinny: https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-19244690-Original-Equipment-Windshield/dp/B004JBJX8G/ref=sr_1_12?keywords=cruise+control+lever&qid=1555170309&s=gateway&sr=8-12 2. Here is a listing for a NOS actuator with the correct Mopar part number: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OUT-OF-BOX-OEM-Mopar-53007954-Cruise-Control-Actuator-Servo-91-96-Jeep-XJ/183250137613 If anyone could help me on what are the actual Part Numbers or links for the stalk and actuator? I have a 93 XJ and this looks to be pretty much all I need for an almost plug and play install. Extremely detailed and informative thread here, keep those trucks alive guys JV
Zelius Aurelius
Options for stalk: 1. (Already mentioned) https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-19244690-Original-Equipment-Windshield/dp/B004JBJX8G/ref=sr_1_12?keywords=cruise+control+lever&qid=1555170309&s=gateway&sr=8-12 backed up by the following amazon review: or: https://teamgrandwagoneer.com/turn-signal-cruise-wiper-switch-gw-1986-1991/ Which seems to have a compatible OEM number 56000034 Secondly the actuator already listed by @Minuit at the start of this thread https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OUT-OF-BOX-OEM-Mopar-53007954-Cruise-Control-Actuator-Servo-91-96-Jeep-XJ/183250137613 From my understanding these are the parts you need to get cruise control going on a 4.0 H.O.?
