Jjscomanche
Hey everyone, ive been working on my dads 1990 Jeep Comanche, and I just changed the radiator. I am trying to fill it back up with coolant, but it will not go down into the radiator from the reservoir. I turned the heat on, tried squeezing the hoses, and nothing is working. Please help. yxmj
Start by removing the top rad hose and fill it from there.....replace the hose....fill the coolent bottle and run it for a bit.....report back
Pete M
and to bleed out the last bit of air in the engine block, get the back of the truck higher than the front, loosen the coolant temp sensor at the back/top of the head and use it to bleed out air carefully after someone else fires up the truck. and have a rag overtop the sensor as you do this because you might get sprayed. do not do this with a hot engine!
