rockhardzj Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 You have a tranny out of a Supra? Which one is it?I dunno, an oily one? Standing on end, out of my way... My brother is a toyota driving/modding moron. I know it's a 5spd out of a 86.5 supra. I also have an 83 celica supra rotting out at the farm... It's got a moonroof, and a ghey parking lot paint job...
Geonovast Posted August 28, 2007 Author Posted August 28, 2007 Thought of something else today that may be a problem... With the bigger block going in there, am I going to need different front springs? If I am, it's not too much of a problem since I kept the springs off my XJ. Also, if I do need to replace them, can I do it without removing the axle from the control arms? When I took the springs off the XJ all four CAs were already removed.
DirtyComanche Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 You can pop the springs without pulling CAs, but you normally need coil compressors or to undo a bunch of other stuff.
rockhardzj Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 I just pop the discos and go to full RTI :D Makes life easy!
