I  have attached a write-up on how to adapt a Dakota fuel tank into a SWB Comanche.  It should be applicable to a LWB vehicle with minimal changes.

Much cleaner than my temporary treated 4x4 that's been there for at least 5 years now. Since you "dented" it, any shots of how far it sits below the unibody? That's my biggest complaint since I haven't done a skid yet

Is this only for HO/late model swaps, or would it work for a Renix? rewiring the connector makes it seem so easy.

That clearance between tank and driveshaft makes me uncomfortable... lol

This is for 97+ swaps since the fuel Guage reads opposite. Clearance is fine
