thejum57
I've tried everything I can think of but these 2 nuts will NOT budge, the other 6 came out pretty easily. Any suggestions?
krustyballer16
I used a hammer and chisel once in a junk yard to break the nut up but the stud wasnt any good after that I just wanted the seat. If you can weld, don't worry about the stud...Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Try tightening it then backing it off. Try using trans fluid on it. I can’t tell from the pic but can you get a nut splitter on it. I’ve had to deal with those nuts many times and they can be a nightmare. coolwind57
You saturated them babies with some break-free first (or other penetrating oil), right?
Dzimm
Go the penetrating oil route first. If that doesn't work alone, try using a chisel and hammer to tap around the nut to help break it loose. If they won't come loose after that, you are pretty much stuck breaking them off. You can try heat but an open flame that close to carpet is not a good idea.
