zachbkr
So recently I bought a 1987 2WD 2.5l Gas Comanche. The clutch was bad so I bought the Duralast clutch kit along with a new master cylinder and hydraulic hose. I dropped the trans and replaced everything but the union piece that connects the hose to the slave. While putting everything back together we had trouble with the union piece leaking. We eventually got it to stop leaking and it seemed like everything was working. I drove it home and let it sit for a bit and went to go drive it maybe an hour later and the clutch pedal stopped working again. Reservoir was empty and just leaking out of the bottom of the bell housing. My only guess is that we overtightened the union piece and messed up the line going into the slave, causing it to break open eventually. Any advice? Jeep Driver
I highly suggest going to an external bellhousing and slave found on the 94 and up models
