HVAC question

now that my piece of junk is working properly, my next goal is to remove the HVAC box entirely, but before i rip apart the dash there`s something i must know, without the HVAC in place, is it possible to put the dashboard back? or is i

Don't know about the re-assembly without the plenum, but won't you miss the defrost mode (dew on inside windshield)?

Yes, the MJ has a hook like bracket that holds the dash above the hvac box.   Will go back no problem.

never used it, must be because it has never worked... besides winter is not that bad here...
