Showing date instead of time since last post

I noticed today that the site now only shows the date of the most recent post on the main page where it previously showed the time since the last post.

 

Notice under the avatars on the right side of the page. Showing Dec 31 instead of how many minutes since the last post.

yeah, I noticed that too last night.  weird.    

 

I'm getting some normality today though.

Times are showing up this morning for me too.  Very strange.

Me too. Maybe because of the new year date change? Seems fine now.
