Skorpyo Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 2.5 MJ, but looks to be a in great shape. Willing to throw in a 4.0L XJ as parts vehicle. No price listed so maybe it's OBO.... https://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/d/jeep-comanche-mj-xj-cherokee/6419179303.html
NHMJXJ Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Sent the seller a text ... they said, "best offer". Once upon a time on CL that little $1 next to the title (JEEP COMANCHE MJ XJ CHEROKEE - $1) meant $1000 ... I would guess the expectation is more nowadays. Edit: 6K for the pair

Edit: 6K for the pair Holy smokes! 6K for a MJ with a bum engine and an XJ that's rotted through?? I tell ya here in the DMV area everyone thinks they have a gold mine and everything is worth double elsewhere. He'll be waiting a LONG time to get 6K for those two. My favorites on FB and CL are the guys who are like "4 33x12.5.15s 25% tread, will trade ONLY for 35 or 37s with 50% tread or more!" LOL
Minuit Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Any ad that lists at $1 is an instant no-click for me. If they're too chicken to come up with a price when they make their ad, I'm not going to waste my time trying to beat one out of them.
schardein Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Don't like to see a post go to far off topic, but... I have a friend who has parted over 50 Jeeps... says he ALWAYS starts negotiating at half listed price (cash in hand) and more often than not brings something home.
Skorpyo Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 HAH, I ALWAYS tell my wife that when I list something for sale on CL I list it for twice what I want cause everyone always lowballs at half... Unless I think its unreasonable then I'll list it form 25% above what I want and tell them low-ball offers ignored. I've started using FB more than CL cause CL people are the worst... Not that FB is great, but people tend to be more responsive. I'd say about 15% of people I email or text on CL actually reply... it's about 40% on FB. I just don't get why people don't answer you if they want to sell it
NHMJXJ Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Off topic, but ... there are bottom feeders on CL that think sellers are desperate, conversely, there are sellers that don't know the value of what they're selling.
