I found a 92 2dr xj for $650 within 10min of looking. Bad motor, trans not far behind, but body is in pristine condition. If only . . . . . .

That thing may be lacking in a few details and it may not be to everyone's liking but there is a lot of interesting fab work that was done.   I've seen many  "Chermanche" projects where a 2 dr. XJ has been chopped and some turned out very nice.   Many did not!   This guy took quite a different route ... and I like it.   It would be a nice project to "take over" but at $15,000 that would be tough.
