looking for some suggestions. to me it looks like someone has tried to fix it before and their welds failed, but i could be wrong. so the question is, should i grind it out and try fixing it, again? or if it is an apn, and the welds are original, should i try and get it warrantied? i didnt buy the header, it was on the stroker when i got it

I'm going to guess this caused all the cracks...

Any warranty it might have had is null and void if the header has been wrapped.

 

The best way to repair that header IMO is to get it brazed.

This type of manifold is available from many sources, and they don't crack.  At least, the ones I have on my XJ and MJ haven't, and both came off junkyard XJs.

Just replace the manifold with a cheap one from Rock Auto, Ebay, etc.  Then get a flex pipe connection and us it at the downpipe.  That will solve the cracking issue.
