89 Comanche FLOOR PANELS ANYBODY ???

Hey All ,

 

New to the board here, wondering if anybody has a source for retro-fit

floor panels for the manche, drivers side is got a big old hole in her, other

side is fine , any help is good help

Those are the same ones I just bought. Look decent enough for the price, havn't installed them yet.

I just went to a HVAC company and picked through thier scrap pile for some decent sheet metal.

 

Cut patches with some heavy duty tin snips, and welded them in place.

 

Not the prettiest job, but it's strong and was cheepie, (just the cost of the welding rods). :brows:

I wonder if y'all know that the raised C section is SPOT WELDED over the floorpan...???

 

you can make one easy, but remember to remove the one (or what's left of it) before installing the floorpan.

Well When I got my MJ, there wasn't much floor left in that area.

I welded in a nice thick peice of sheet metal,

As for the raised C section,

since it wasn't there,

I figure I can get away with out it. :brows:

The piece I welded in seems pretty strong.

mine were just as bad on the passenger side, just cut to good metal, get some cardboard and a sharpie for templates. Good o'l 24 guage will do the trick, cut them and hammer them to fit.
