Just wondering if anyone has plasti-dipped their comanche and could post before and after pics... I'm thinking about doing it to mine, but I'm worried about chipping and stuff like that.

I mean it'd be like doing any other car and the chipping would be the same as other dipped cars. Don't see why anything would be different unless you are wheeling in it

Simply because I don't want to spray it on there and then in two weeks have chips, i guess I'm really asking about the durability because I'm not planning on spray canning it, They actually make a "professional" kit you can buy now

It still will on so many factors.  Prep. Application. Application environment. And, how bad is your driving environment?

To do it truly correctly it will require 4-5 base coats, at least 3-4 color coats, and then clear coats ( somewhat optional).

Now all this is just based on my research.  I have only fully dipped wheels. Mine current Moabs have been dipped over a year

with zero issues.

Ready to try the entire truck but waiting on some additional body armor to arrive.
