kroyusa
Had this in the garage from my days as a tech. Used it last week to solder wires together under my buddy's F150 and it worked great. The soldering tip put enough heat on the wires to suck in the solder. There's a tip in the kit that puts out heat without flame and that worked great on the heat shrink. I've also been using the torch tip to heat stuff as I disassemble my Comanche. Helped me get the brake lines out of the distribution block, front bumper bolts and steering box bolts so far. big66440
NICE!! Thanks for sharing,I've been looking for a decent one for my "on the road" box. You seem like a good candidate for the "garage Journal" forum are you a member already?
HOrnbrod
How do you refill the butane?
DirtyComanche
How do you refill the butane? Should be little checkvalve orifice thing on it, same as (better) butane lighters and such. I have the Weller (branded as Snap-On or Bluepoint) equivalent to that.
HOrnbrod
Ah, okay. Like a Schrader valve. Neat tool.
