I had the front header off with front wire harness.  Unplugged and cleaned the C102 connector.  All lights seem to work fine but I don't have turn signals and when I step on the brake the front park lights come on?  Also both dash turn indicators light up?

I replaced both turn/park light sockets but problem still persists.

My guess is something is using those bulbs as a path to ground. I've seen funny things happen with bulbs when open grounds exist. Sorry, not much help here.

The front park/turn light sockets are bad. The sockets aren't providing a normal path to ground, so when one filament needs to light up it uses the second filament as a ground path and back feeds the circuit. Seeing the dash indicators light up is the clue.

There's a socket available in the HELP! aisle of the parts stores that's a direct fit. It's listed for a Ford, but it works in the XJs and MJs.

If you replaced the sockets already, I'd check your grounds, maybe add another ground at the battery to "frame", maybe use temp  jumper wire at the socket to see if an added ground will help.
