open system?

Bought this Comanche a few months ago is this the "open system''? if not what do I need to do to make it open. And is a 1row radiator enough to keep this 4.0 inline cool???

If your radiator has a cap like the one pictured, the PO converted to the open system.

 

The closed system does not have a radiator cap.  Instead, there is a pressure tank on the passenger side fire wall.

sorta.  I replaced the aging radiator in the 88 with one that had a cap, but I kept the old system.  I did it out of laziness, but maybe my subconscious just wanted to confuse future owners :D
