DirtyComanche
A long time ago somebody sent me a link for the metric fittings to use on an AW4 to delete the quick disconnects. They were a metric to AN fitting. That was a laptop or two back in time, so I've lost the link. I think Summit or Jegs sold them. Anyone have any ideas? I hate the quick disconnects with a passion. HOrnbrod
I've got everything for the tranny and the cooler but still need to get the adapters for the radiator. Thanks for reminding me. http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/670520/10002/-1 File Pic:

DirtyComanche
Don, any idea if you're supposed to use O-rings or crush seals on those fittings? I'm guessing O-rings, but have never taken the fittings out of an AW4 before.
HOrnbrod
O-rings. You may be able to reuse the original. I've done it before with good results.
Rockfrog
I finally found a source for the quick disconnect to AN fittings for the radiator side. Upper firing can be swapped with a 3/8" male inverted flare fitting, but the lowers on most rads are soldered to the cooler. The fitting mate to that tube and allow a -6AN fitting to be attached. They are a 3/8" GM fuel/oil/trans fitting when searching. Found mine on eBay, as usual these days. So now I finally have all the fittings needed to re-plumb the XJ's AW4 ... And a complete solenoid kit as well. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
