I just bought an '89 Comanche and was searching for information when I discovered there was a Comanche Club. Who knew?

ANyway, my ownership will be short lived as I only bought the Comanche to get the engine and tranny for an AMC project of mine.

Still thought I'd join because after I get the engine and tranny out, any and all remaining parts will be available for sale.

Mine's an '89  2wd . 4.0 with automatic on the column.  Unfortunately the body is pretty well rotted.  The drivetrain seems good though.

If I can figure out how to post a picture I will.

Even a rotten body... Chop up an XJ for parts. MJ's only get sacrificed to keep other MJ's going. Makes no sense even when decent-running XJ's can still be had for <$400. You'll also find you want a later HO model, '91+, for better results.

Don't consider this an attack, but  :agree:. Depends on the level of rot I suppose.

Heh... Minuit would probably faint if he saw the rot on my MJ... Which I don't think is all that bad considering. Everything's fixable if you're crazy enough.

It wasn't meant to be an attack, no, but the sentiment still holds.
