need some photoshop help making a new club decal

I have a scan of a comanche emblem.  what I need to get vinyl cut is a simple, accurate outline of the letters and an outline of the outer bubble area around them.  eventually it will need to be converted to a file type that is infinitely enlargeable (adobe, vector, etc) but first things first. 

 

anyone want to lend a hand?  there's a free decal and coozie in it for ya :D
