LaComanche88
Hows it going I just got a new clutch kit and flywheel for my 88 Comanche also comes with the hydraulic throw out bearing /slave cylinder... I know how to bleed my clutch but I don't know how to bleed a new hydraulic throw out bearing and I think it has to get bled before installing to prevent it from rupture... can anyone please help me thank you
fiatslug87
It does not need bleeding independently. There are a couple of straps that hold it compressed that you leave as is, place it on the shaft, add the locking pin, install the trans to engine, attach the hydraulic line and bleed through the master cylinder and bleed screw. I can send you a pdf of the LUK clutch instructions, pm an email address if Interested.
LaComanche88
Correct so the clips will unlock on there own ?
fiatslug87
Yes, they release when the clutch pedal is depressed and bled.
