Hey, I'm new to this. How do I start a new forum?

Sometimes those simple things slip my mind. Well in that case a metric ton factory leaf spring will have a 3/4 inch lower ride height then a non metric ton.

No, it won't. It has less unloaded arch, but it's a stiffer/stronger spring, so the weight of the unloaded chassis and box don't deflect the springs as much as the standard springs.

do you mean a new thread?  should be able to by clicking the "start new topic" box in the upper right corner of any of the forum pages.  unless you mean the classifieds, for which you'll need 10 posts in other areas first.

OK I just got done swapping springs,

In a SOA configuration I took out my hell creek metric ton leaves and put in general springs standard 3+1.

I lost 2 inches in lift.

 

If anyone in the MN area  wants a set of metric ton leaves I have some for sale
