schardein
I recently posted a question about the woodgrain interior trim, and another question occurred to me. I have a 1991 with the burgundy interior. My steering column is black. I installed a factory steering wheel with the factory black leather cover, to replace the steering wheel with the plain rubber rim. One day at the junkyard I saw a burgundy leather covered steering wheel. Thought about grabbing it, but thought mine would look funny with a black steering column (still think so). The truck in question had a burgundy painted steering column. So I'm wondering why my steering column is black? Was there any rhyme or reason for a steering column to be color matched? fiatslug87
My SporTruck with a tan interior has a black column but my two Pioneers have color matched columns, so maybe trim level?

schardein
Makes sense. Mine is a Sport, didn't even come with a factory installed radio.
