My Comanche decided to burn an exhaust valve on me today and I have a 7120 head laying in the garage I'll be replacing my Renix head with, I know the Intake ports are a little different on the 7120 head and I will have to port match them so my Renix intake will work,  I was wondering if a Dremel tool with a carbide bit would be enough to get the job done ? I know I can gring cast aluminum with it but have any of you tried to grind or port cast iron with it? thanks.

When I put my Mike Leach header on the stroker years ago I used the Dremel tungsten carbide cutters like below to grind out all the casting bumps and ridges on both the head and the header ports before mounting it up. The ports were essentially matched and I didn't have to take off a lot of material; this was more for grinding then polishing with a Dremel sanding drum. It took off the head material with ease, but I had to use maybe a half dozen of them.

I've only done exactly what you're asking about 4 times.

Works fine. Use the Renix intake gasket and match port both the intake manifold and head to it. Intake won't need much.

Head will need more but it's cast iron. Do it first.

Scribe the gasket on to the head. Start at a 45* angle and go in about 1/4". Taper in to the head from there a few more times.

I have photos.
