I had he same problem with the bearing kpuller but I just took my grinder to it and made it smaller so it fit in the hole but then I couldn't return it but it was only like 12$

Also, I haven't done it yet but is the linkage a direct swap over? I have everything else done but I didn't have time to put in the linkage

 

Yes, but....

 

I had to lift the carpeting to get the bolts that hold the bracket to the trans tunnel.  That means removing the driver's seat (bucket).

FWIW, I always remove the CPS before I remove or install a tranny. This insures the CPS will not get damaged from the flywheel during the swap.

 

I had not thought about that.  I hope I did not damage it

 

How come the new bushing looks a bit beat up?

 

 

I had to use an old sparkplug socket to drive it it.   :roll:

After some fiddling with final parts (like the tcase vent tube  :doh: ) I've got it all back together.   :banana:

 

I drove it around the block to test it out.  The clutch feels great.  Nice and firm.  The shifting is stiffer than the BA, but has a much shorter throw.
