I have a 1989 Comanche long bed 4.0 auto 4X4.

I though I had a line on a set of 3" springs but it was a typo. they where XJ springs.

SO now I need to go back to plan A and go down to Superior Spring, a local leaf spring manufacturer. The trouble is they speak in terms of size and payload, not necessarly lift. I believe the legnth is 59" and the width is 2.5 but what is stock payload?

I am figuring it must be in the neighbor hood of 1500lbs. But I would rather NOT guess. HOPEFULLY, frome there I can come to a size to get me the 3" of lift I need.

Thanks,

nose should be 2500lbs and bed should be 2700lbs for gawr and 4850lbs for the gvwr. if this is what u are lookin for. this is for my 86 2.8l v6 auto longbed 4x4. but they all should be the same for this.

What do you think?

I have a set of AAL's and was just going to throw them in and see...A number of people said the RUSTYS LONG AAL's where VERY GOOD! So for 50+- bucks I though I'd try them...than at the bottom of the page, these popped out at me!!!

PLEASE advise!!!

The rusty's lift springs should be decent, as they don't make them themselves.

That's the rule with rusty's; if it's made in house it blows, if it's farmed out it'll be fine.

Every set of Rusty's springs I've used have worked very nicely. The've all settled level, and taller than advertised. The 'Brown Santa' should have delivered a set of 4.5" by the time I get home.
