Comanche County Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Is it possible to make a 4x4 super turbine 300? Don't they share the same rear tail housing pattern as a TH350? Anyone ever done that? I'm putting a Turbo Buick V6 in my 3A and I'm thinking I wanna go with a short automatic. The shortest is the glide and the ST300. I wanna limit the number of adapters. Been looking for a BOP powerglide but haven't found one. But I have found a take off ST 300 which has the BOP pattern. If the tail housing matches then the Novak TH350-D18 adapter may make this idea work. I've had a couple of close calls lately with this stupid carbon fiber leg and even though I prefer sticks, I think I'm gonna switch all my rigs over to autos. My foot twisted on me the other day when I hit the brakes hard and I ended up smashing the gas and nearly caused a wreck.....It's making me a nervous wreck. :(
Crash Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Back in the day there where a handful of vehicle with a divorced transfer case setup. Basically uses a 2WD trans, connected to transfer case via a short driveline.
Incommando Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 There is not going to be room in in 3a for a divorced t-case. Their wheel base is tiny.
gogmorgo Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 My Lada has an 86" wheelbase and a divorced t-case. How much difference could four inches make?
