buckwheat Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I am trying to do a 97+ front clip conversion. I have all pieces except the fender brackets. If anyone has a set they can sell, let me know.
yellaheep Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Fender brackets? The triangular ones that go just below the front radiator support area? (Below the turn signals and above the tires in the pic....)
Rockfrog Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Skip them, not needed. Neither my 2000 XJ nor my 1988 MJ with a 2000 clip have them. In fact I cut then off the 2000 ...
Akula69 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 PM me. I have a set on the 2000 XJ (that I am scrapping) I will send you for free on your dime.

buckwheat Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 @ Akula69 - PM sent @ Rockfrog - It makes me nervous to leave parts out. Since Akula69 has a set I'll go ahead and add them. But thanks for the info. @ yellaheep - The brackets I am thinking of are kinda behind the headlight area. They are straight, vertically oriented and are kinda like angleiron. Three mounting points on each side. http://comancheclub.com/topic/9913-97-cherokee-front-end-swap-for-an-mj-comanche/has a really good photo of it. Its the second photo in his line-up.
buckwheat Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 Naw, thats too complicated. Just the front clip. If I can get that figured out even . . .
DirtyJeepGuy Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Believe it or not the dash isn't too hard. My 86 has a 99 dash.
