Help Removing oil pressure switch on 2.5L

91 MJ 2.5L 5 so w/ guages

With what kind of wrench do you get the oil pressure switch out. I have tried for 2 afternoons to get it out even welded up a contraption a while ago and that didn't work either( imagine that)

Use an oil pressure switch socket like the Lisle 13250 or a deep 1-1/16" socket.

I have the one that works a guage it's made differant bottom is much smaller than the top. And it's behind ac

Can't you get a thin open ended wrench on the base of the sender? I'm not familiar with the 2.5 setup.

9/16 or 5/8s box end wrench would fit in there to turn it....

Just enough till you can turn it by hand

Thx guys what a difference looking at it after dark. Should have known to wait till after dark where I can see better. After eye surgery years ago I can see clearer at night than at day. I should be able to get to it now.
