window weatherstrip

My weatherstripping that runs vertically between the window and the fixed wing window is shot so I bought a new set. Before I tear into this project does anyone have experience replacing these? What is the best way to remove the old one's, etc?

remove the inner door panel, roll up the window, disengage the bottom end of the weatherstrip from the pin holding the bottom in place.  spray a little silicone lube into the old weatherstrip, roll the window down, pull the top end of the strip loose and pull straight up.  should slide right out.

I replaced mine from the PnP.

 

I runs down inside the door but I cut it off just below the window opening and replaced that section.

 

It just pulls out.
