Are they supposed to be offset to the driver side?Image Not FoundImage Not FoundMy XJ's console is evenly spaced between the seats. The Eliminator had the brackets already in there, but the original console couldn't be found by the PO's family. Just looks strange. The console lines up with the original console's impressions in the carpet, so, it seems it was like this from the factory.Jerry
Marine1Texas Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 yes it is offset to driver side on mine too. I think because of the 4wd shifter. I know yours is 2wd however other then that it the same setup

neohic Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Mine used to do that but when I had the interior out last I tweaked the rear bracket over so it would fit better. I too struggled with the seat belt when it fell down. :fs2:
