Babygirl36988
so I'm new and this maybe in the wrong section. Sorry if it is, but I'm trying to replace the shift knob due to the factory one coming apart. Just the metal piece that was inside the rubberish material is still there. How do I remove it? reubj
It's threaded on to the shifter. There are flats for a wrench. Just unscrew it.
HOrnbrod
Column shift or floor shift? Suggest you edit your signature to include the year, engine, transmission, etc. of your MJ so we don't have to guess.
fiatslug87
The manual shifter has a "lock nut" with flat sides, loosen it clockwise, then unscrew the metal piece counterclockwise.
