CJ's MJ
https://micronesia.craigslist.org/cto/4920880139.html This is guy is totally insane. Lol. Who in their right mind would buy this. I know it has nothing to do with jeep but thought everyone could use a good laugh. This is what we have to deal with here on most vehicles for sale. jimoshel
I worked on Kwajalien , Marshall Islands, for several years. All the vehicles there were painted with a tar like substance to forestall the rusting. It helped by maybe 6 months. Biggest problem was brushing up against the darn things and getting the tar smeared on your clothing. It didn't wash out. They never tried to salvage any of them. After 3 years they loaded them up on a barge and dumped them into the lagoon.
CJ's MJ
Plastidip is just now starting to be popular here. I watched a video on it and thought why even bother lol. I saw a ricer the other day with it on it. Not sure if he did a awful job with his or its our climate. It had several spots where it has started bubbling badly and was coming off. FrankTheDog
Speaking of Jags, there is a high end Jaguar restoration shop in town that was working on a similar car when I stopped in. I asked him how much for the resto and he said close to 100k. How much will it be worth when your done? $75,000. Now that's a labor of love. Incommando
It is like the guy asking $27,000 for a '92 Wrangler because he has $20,000 "in receipts." No you have a $5,000 Wrangler and a pile of paper.
